SEF Energy, established in 2014, is a private holding company comprised of US-based manufacturing companies, Downing Wellhead and Oso Perforating. We have over 40 years of experience in the energy industry and our roots run deep in Oklahoma. Our mission is to create a culture of excellence, to provide a meaningful work experience for employees and to facilitate the provision of energy to the world. Our Companies
For 40 years, Downing has specialized in designing and manufacturing quality, reliable wellhead and surface equipment right here in the U.S.A. We are proud to be an API-6A licensed manufacturer and work hard to provide the best wellhead and surface equipment to our customers.
Oso Perforating is a downhole tool provider specializing in perforating technology. We design and manufacture high-quality perforating products and ancillary equipment. We take pride in providing our customers with industry leading completion tools that are innovative while cost-effective. Our manufacturing capacity coupled with our technical prowess allows us to be highly responsive to our customers.

What We Manufacture
At our U.S. based manufacturing facility in Oklahoma City, we manufacture casing and tubing heads, casing and tubing hangers, adapters, valves, flanges and other pressure control and casing suspension equipment for Downing Wellhead. For Oso Perforating, we manufacture a high volume of charge tubes, perforating gun bodies and subs, as well as assemble the perforating guns
Our Facility
Our Oklahoma City headquarters features a 100,000 square foot, state-of-the-art, climate-controlled facility manufacturing products for both Downing Wellhead and Oso Perforating. Our organized and clean shop features modern CNC machine tools, measuring and testing equipment.
